4 Erase any leftover unwanted pencil marks. Determine your light source and add crosshatch shading to tighten up the line drawing. This will help when you get to the painting stage if you decide to do so. Use a sharp pencil to polish up the details. Sharpen the edge lines and finish the eyeballs on her apron. The eyeballs look like they’ve been yanked out of their sockets! Draw them with circles and squiggly lines to show the entrails of the eye. Now she’s ready to steal the hearts of men!
CREAGAL
The earth-splitting blasts of horns and thundering booms of hide-covered drums signal the beginning of a Creagal charge. As a society, the Creagal choose to never speak. Their battlefield strategies unfold like a bloody ballet directed by the cues of their musical corps. Commanders flash their swords through the air with precision as a visual cue to their troops, and subtle body movements are used as a form of communication.
Also, Creagal society makes no distinctions based on gender. They are only interested in skill, honor and obedience. Throughout their history, many female Creagal have risen to the seat of Skyrth Brek, the supreme commander of the Creagal war machine, or other positions of power mostly reserved for males in other societies.
Although the Creagal do not speak, they take great pride in their arts. Musicians are viewed as clerics, healers and military strategists. The Creagal have crafted a wide variety of musical instruments to help convey their emotions, and great symphonies both beautiful and horrible have been written throughout their history. The harmonious tones accompanying Creagal on the march are most often met by screams of terror from the enemy, for the Creagal are merciless in battle and relentless in their desire to cleanse the world of filth speakers (anyone who uses a spoken language).
